What a larger taxi actually solves
The moment a group goes past four people with luggage, a sedan stops working. Splitting into two or three cars means separate fares, separate arrival times, and someone standing on the kerb at the airport wondering where the other car went. One larger vehicle removes all of that.
Our larger vehicles seat up to 11 passengers plus the driver and keep the luggage in a dedicated rear area. That distinction matters more than seat count. A vehicle rated for 11 people with nowhere to put 11 suitcases is not a group vehicle, so when you book, tell us the bag count as well as the head count and we will allocate accordingly.
For airport and cruise work we can confirm a fixed quote before the trip, which makes it easy to split between the group and removes any argument about tolls and waiting time at the other end.

How the fare works
Metered trips run on the NSW regulated taxi fare structure. Tolls and the passenger service levy are shown separately on the meter and itemised on your receipt, so you can see exactly what makes up the total.
For pre booked group work, particularly airport and cruise transfers, we can confirm a fixed quote before the trip. That price holds regardless of traffic, which is usually the difference people care about on a 5am run to the airport.
One vehicle for eight people is almost always cheaper than two sedans for the same eight people, before you account for the second car arriving ten minutes later.

How many people fit in one of your large taxis?
Our larger vehicles seat up to 11 passengers plus the driver. Seven and eight seat vehicles are the most common in the fleet. If you are close to the limit, tell us the luggage count too, because 11 people with 11 suitcases needs a different allocation to 11 people with hand luggage.
Can you fit luggage for a full group?
Yes. Our group vehicles have a dedicated rear luggage area rather than relying on passenger space. Give us the number of large cases, prams and any oversize items such as golf clubs or surfboards when you book so we can confirm the vehicle before dispatch.
Do you do Sydney Airport pickups for groups?
Yes, T1 international and T2 and T3 domestic. Provide the flight number and we track the arrival, so if the flight lands early or sits on the tarmac the driver adjusts rather than leaving you waiting or charging you for it.
Can you handle cruise terminal transfers?
Yes, both the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay and White Bay. Cruise days get congested around the terminal, so we book these with a buffer and coordinate the drop point with the driver in advance.
Can we get one fixed price for the group?
For pre booked trips, yes. We confirm a fixed quote up front which holds regardless of traffic conditions. That makes it straightforward to split between the group and removes any surprise at the destination.
How far in advance should we book a large group taxi?
Same day is usually fine, but 11 seaters at peak times are the tightest resource in the fleet. For early morning airport departures, cruise days, weddings and anything over eight passengers, book ahead where you can.
